M51 taken over the last few years.
Last night was decent transparency and good seeing so i decided to add to this old stack. It needs more ISO800 data yet to control noise and bring out the background dust, hoping to do that tomorrow night. I always use ISO 400 or 800 these days but this was from back in my more impatient days

Skywatcher 300PDS / Canon 1100D (Astro modded + LP clip + Coma corrector
Guided with ZWO ASI 120MM / 50mm finder guider.

72 x 4min ISO1600 exposures
14 x 8min ISO800 exposures

Stacked in DSS, processed in PS
