A blast from the past - Jupiter with a webcam

Postby smerral » Thu Apr 29, 2021 1:55 pm

On hearing the sad news that the Shed will be closing in the not too distant future, I thought I would give way to nostalgia and post some images from my early days here. This is Jupiter from 2011, shot with with the Philips spc900nc webcam. It was one of Dion's own, modified by him for long exposure imaging also. The scope was the Skywatcher ED80.
