Guest Viewing?

Postby Kirk » Mon Jan 11, 2016 5:46 pm

Can I suggest that the restriction of a "guest" only seeing the first post is removed and that all the posts are displayed to them ?
I ask as I find that if I cannot see where a post has gone I tend to not bother to log on, and I wonder how many others do the same.

Might be just me but if I do not think I can add to something then I just do not bother to log on to find out the present state. Also if the original post was or is a few weeks or months old I, or others, cannot see where the thread has gone or if the original subject is still applicable.

Also someone finding the site for the first time probably does not get a good impression of the site and forum, it seems somewhat unwelcoming and cannot give them any idea if the content and flow of the site is for them. If the first post is a question or problem they actually have no idea if people here have or can answer the question or supply a soluton to the problem.

Hi, you are viewing as a guest, You can only see this first post in this topic. if you sign up you get access to other goodies you can't even see as a guest, including video tutorials on imaging and processing, scope modifications and even member discounts on gear!

So, give us a try, what have you got to lose! Oh, and if you stay, when you reach 50 posts you get access to MORE goodies! What are you waiting for!
