MAY HAVE TO DISABLE CHAT BOX

I've had several complaints from the server company about the shed hogging memory on it's server, the last time they did it I disabled the ability to post images in there, I also contacted the writer of the chat mod and he said that the mod doesn't hold memory and the server people were wrong. However over the weekend there was further communication :-

"Last night we recorded a new peak in the memory use recorded for account astronomyshed with in excess of 4.5GB of RAM used over 32 connection. It's now become a necessity to review the memory usage of this site to ensure that it doesn't impact on other users on the server in the near future. As previously mentioned the issue seems to be related to a phpbb3 mod called mchat.
If the account continues with it's current memory usage we may have to take steps to limit the accounts use so I'd be grateful if you can let me know the course of action you will be taking in order to bring the the account in line."

So, it looks like I may have to disable it temporarily and see what happens, in the long term it looks like I may have to research a better hosting solution. If anyone happens to own a server gimme a shout
