Cheers Richard and Bill..... Thank goodness the builder and other professionals are doing this..... I'd never be able to do it ;)

The building work has been totally finished now..... I won't be seeing the builder until I call on him for the next project!!! It was a slow day today as it was all finishing bits off.

The gaps between the rails and brickwork have all been filled and rendered. The roof under the roll off rails has been re-tiled and a new door has been put in the room below the observatory. Everything has been touched up and tidied... now we have some tidying and painting to do! Tuesday is roof day :)

Hi Sara
That was a really enjoyable build. Would be great to see how you do the fit out when you get the chance.

Am still pondering doing some form of roof roll off automation just to try and get the hours up. Are you going down that murky path?

Time to enjoy the obsy!

Cheers Dave - Glad that you like it. I was toying with automation myself, but decided against that route..... It was just too potentially problematic when I really can do with the exercise out to the obs!!! For me it's no hardship to go and open up and switch everything on.
