Twin TS-65 Set Up

My twin TS-65 set up is now ready to go. It comprises:

2 x TS-65 Quad Astrographs
1 x G2-8300 Moravian CCD
1 x QHY8L CCD
1 x Celestron OAG
1 x QHY5L-ii guide scope
1 x USB_Focus V3

Weighing in at 13.2kg and mounted on my EQ6 mount:

Just need to fabricate a 2nd dew shield and sort out a clear sky and good to go......

Hi Carole,

I've not used this yet, I've only just got my second TS-65. I did however prove the concept using the TS-65 with a ST80 a few weeks ago:

I combined the images using PI which I've got for a 45 day trial. I intend to try combining future images with APP, which seems simpler to use.

The idea is to make better use of the limited time we get to image. Ideally I'd like to use two identical cameras like Sara Wager did. My pockets aren't that deep at the moment.

Calibration and registration of images in PI is very good and simple- I would expect APP to also be good - neither should have any problem combining the data
