Powering dslr from power bank

Postby bengourben » Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:34 pm

Found this handy cable for powering my 1000d from a mobile power pack.
I've been trying to find a way to get my star adventurer set up completely mobile.
I purchased two 10000mah power banks plus this cable with a dummy battery that steps up the 5 volts supplied from the pack to the required 7.4 that the camera needs.
With the two banks I'm able to power the Star adventurer itself, the lens dew heater and the camera.
I also managed to find a double sized battery for the mini dell laptop I use for acquisition.
All works a treat. Now where's those clear skies?!ImageImage
