Hi, thanks for the ad. I live in North Wales and been interested in stargazing since I was a kid. For the last thirty odd years I've been amusing myself with a pair of 7x50 bins and an el cheapo spotter scope. Now that I'm well retired, I've been hankering after something a bit less physical as a pastime and decided to stretch my old brain (and wallet) a bit and buy a proper scope to dig a bit deeper into astronomy. Living where I do, dark skies are virtually on my doorstep so it seems a pity to waste them.
