Unfortunately the skies are Bortle 5 where I am staying and although facing the sea there are annoying street lights so I had to mask them out with a screen.

worth taking a drive out of the town Carole....this site was bortle 3- 2...closer to 2. Its very dry so it helps....The A7s is ridiculous, im very please with the way it handles the Milky Way even for an unmodified camera.
