Polarcam Is Here!

For the discussion of posted tutorials so as not to break up the threads. Just start a thread here with the same name as the tutorial.

TUTORIAL DISCUSSION

Why a tutorial discussion section? Well, if a person is posting a tutorial thread in segments, the tendency is for people to post questions in-between. This causes the tutorial to become convoluted.

So, if you post a tutorial, especially if you intend it to be several messages long (ie, in steps) please also post a thread here with" <name of tutorial> discussion" as the subject.

Thanks

Hi Dion. Did some quick checking and found an old post (2009) re the EQ6 polarscope and dimming. It appears that this feature is available under the Utilities menu when the motor control board is 2.0 or higher. I bought my EQ6 used and there is no selection under my Utilities menu. I checked the information sub-menu under Utilities and found that I have v 1.08. Do you know if this can be upgraded or if there is a workaround?

Cheers,

Gord
