Yearbook of Astronomy

Being very new to Astronomy, I have started aquirering a few books.
I thought the patrick Moore edited Yearbooks might be a good "series" to get, so picked up a 1983 copy.
Oooh heck, I dont want to say owt negative about the great man, but its not a good read for a newbie..... :shock:
