Focal Reducers????

Need to know about how to work that new mount or scope? Got tips on how to make it easier?

I understand the reasoning of not using a focal reducer with a fast Newtonian (f5 and less) and DSLR due to either not enough back focus and or increasing the field of curvature. What about a Newtonian at f8 and above if back focus is not an issue as supposedly Newtonian's at f8 and above will have minimal field curvature and coma compared to fast f5 and less Newtonians?
