New kit integration

Need to know about how to work that new mount or scope? Got tips on how to make it easier?

New kit integration

Alright, I've spent far more money than I should have  But that's okay, we can't take it to the grave and this hobby truly does give me joy.

I've made up a little diagram to help me figure out the cable management. The idea is I'll be able to keep everything on the 'scope all cable managed neatly. When it's clear I'll just have to pop the scope on the mount, plug the power and mount in then I'm good to go. It'll allow me to get rid of loads of cables and speed up the setup process.

As Roger quite rightly pointed out in another post, an OAG is overkill for my ED80. I do agree, but I've stuck with it in the hope it will make everything just that bit smoother and cleaner. It also allows me to mount the ASIair Pro onto the finder scope dovetail. If it's too much hard work I can easily go back to the finder/guider.

I'd really appreciate everyones thoughts...

Have I missed something crucial? Is there a better way to do this?
Will velcro suffice to hold the power box onto the scope?
Also, I can't work out if I should or shouldn't be using my SW FF/FR with this setup? I guess I'll need to get everything together rather than imagining it in my head.
