1st solar pics with Titan Mono.

For those who can't decide if there's not enough day, or not enough night!

*** WARNING ***

Do not EVER look directly at the Sun through a telescope or in any other way, unless you have the proper filters and have been educated in their proper use. This can cause INSTANT eye damage, and remember, you only get ONE pair of eyes!

Very windy today so scope blowing around abit. Thought I have a go at the Sun with me new camera the Titan mono. Filter attached to me 76mm (didn't want to risk yours Julianr in the gale) its f10 so couldn't get the whole globe in shot. But I could see alot more sunspots than on Monday. Image could have done with just a bit more focus but with the wind and my puter screen reflecting glare everywhere plus me in the darkest shades I could find :)) It's not to far away. There's either a new feature on the suns suface or more likely, my lens has an insect part stuck to it  Here's the links:

The last has only two frames stacked from 300. The top is 15 from 500 and middle is around the same: very windy and lots of long lolipops in Registax. Added to me fumbling around like Ray Charles with the software

Any moderator sorry I've put this in the wrong topic saw the solar bit and posted. feel free to move it to Imaging. :notaclue:
