I want to observe Spica in september

Postby Ariasexta » Fri Sep 15, 2017 9:19 am

I am a newbie in astronomy. Now I want to track the constellation Virgo and the brightest star of it: Spica, but it is september, and all the sky maps I found so far of northern hemisphere for September and following months do ot show Virgo and Spica. Is it impossible to see Virgo in this month or in the rest of this years on northern hemisphere? If I went to some place in southerm hemisphere, is it sure that I can easily see them there?

Thanks in Adance for kind opinions.
