Registax problem with RAW

Postby Vincent » Tue Apr 28, 2015 12:27 am

Hi again good people hope you can help, having bought my son a Celestron Cs6 for Christmas which he is now getting the bug and hang of it and enjoying our wonderful hobby, he is now taking planetary shots with his Sony interchangeable lens camera. His results up until now have been encouraging but the other night in reasonable seeing conditions he took over seven hundred frames on time lapse of Jupiter on RAW only to find Registax 6 will not accept them for stacking. Before he wipes them off and has to wait for another decent seeing night to do it all again can any members of the shed recommend an alternative system to load his RAW files in and stack and process them with a similar result to Registax. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
