I took a short trip from Ohio to Sparta Tennessee to insure that I had 100% totality for the Solar Eclipse. The trip was well worth the effort. The sight was amazing and very emotional. I was able to capture the Sun in eclipse and have both a planet - Mars and Star Regulas as well as detail on the Moon in one frame. Even was able to pull a bit of prominence out of it. All were taken on my CGEM with a Nikon D-750 and 800mm lens with a 10 stop Neutral Density filter. With exception to those taken during full eclipse, they had no filters.
