Onion rings on planetary images

Postby jpdavies » Tue Mar 29, 2016 3:01 pm

Hi all,
On some of my Jupiter images, I get a series of "onion rings" on the Registax processed image. It has ruined several decent images in the past , taken with Philps webcams, and I thought I had solved the problem when I upgraded to fast frame rate cameras. However, some of my latest series are again affected! I have tried setting the gain and gamma to recommended levels but to no avail. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks,
JPD
