Two images of old favourite M81 using the C8 and Starlight Xpress H9-C at f 5.7. The first is full spectrum, the second uses the Altair quadband filter. Both have a total integration time of 100 mins.

I like the first one (top one). Both are very nice.

Impressive for only 100 min!
How long are the subs?

Subs were 20x5 mins for the full spectrum, 10x5 mins + 5x10 mins for the narrowband.
I did a bit of creative merging by using the oiii as the blue channel. Result below
They are all a little noisy as I was unable to dither, the galaxy filling the FOV. I did apply darks but dithering is more effective I find.

Hope you don't mind Brian but I had a little play with your data.
This is from the 2nd version using the quadband.

I did a further stretch in Layers grey point and then increased the colour in Match colour, and it has revealed some nice data. even possibly some IFN showing through at the bottom.

Not at all Carole! In fact, I'd forgotten about the IFN! Not all that fuzziness is noise after all!
