Moonrise over Manchester

Postby jjb2011 » Fri Dec 05, 2014 9:16 pm

Coming back from London tonight on the train at about 1600hrs, the near full moon was just rising over the Pennines after a ferocious squall which left hail on the ground . It looked huge. Even though I have seen it so many times it is really an amazing optical illusion.
