Creating Tonemapped Hubble Images Pt1

Part one deals with the RGB side of things.
The reason for tone mapping narrowband images is that the stars carry no usefull colour information because the colours assigbed to the channels are false. Also by removing the stars we can stretch the image to its maximum and not worry about blown or bloated stars.
Part two will deal with the luminosity channel and bring them both together to create an LRGB image.

As always this is best viewed in full screen mode.

NOTE....Register the images before removing the stars.....its a sod to do it after :)) ...Trust me I know :tongue:
