This reply is aimed at the moderators. I have made a number of comments on this forum which were to be approved by the moderators and I would receive an email confirming approval. As yet I have received none. Is there a problem with my postings? Have I infringed the forum rules in some way? If so can you tell me what they are please?

I can speak for myself only to say that I do not usually inform user when I approve posts, one less email in your inbox.

With the board being less busy than times gone by I tend to visit less often, at one point it was daily, this is probably true for the others as well.

The approval was introduced a while back to combat an incessant stream of spamming/trolling, primarily originating in Russia, and all other attempts to block it seem to have failed.

These will be the primary reasons for any delays or lack of notification, which would apply to all postings.

The administration would certainly not be obtuse should it ever come to reprimands, so I don't think you have any concerns there.

I'm on virtually every night and I know that I have approved a few of your posts. There is an option to advise posters that their post has been approved which I generally do so I'm not sure if the response generated has not been automatically been sent.

Fair enough! But my reason for contacting the moderators was to ask why my previous posts about the sun-moon anomaly still have not been approved.

I'm still hoping that someone will challenge my torch and football analogy with my sun - moon anomaly. Flat or spherical geometry is not the answer. This is a straight forward 3D problem.
