Hi all are you ready for the March 20th eclipse, i have been look at the best places to view it from in the uk.
The further north you go the better the show will be. I am looking to go up to the top of Scotland where you
will get an eclipse of 97% if the weather will play ball :praying: , I will also try to visit Rob (Innkeeper) at the same time.
I have found this website :

http://astro.ukho.gov.uk/eclipse/0112015

which will help you to see how much of the eclipse you will see from different parts of the uk and also anywhere
on the path. If the weather plays ball i am looking to get a set of images to make in to a move, we will see what happens. :nailbiting:

Hi Rob, thanks for the website i have see it. Its a good one, all ready finding info out for the August 2017 eclipse.
I think that i will be doing the same as you both , watching the weather and going to the best place. I do hope that
it is up near the top of Scotland, as it is the closest point for the max percentage you will be able to get.

I was ready for it with my home made filter but sadly it clouded over and I couldn't see a bloody thing! I was gutted.

Mind you, I switched on the tv to watch the BBC coverage and some poor couple had flown all the way to the Faroe Islands for the 100% eclipse and it clouded over there as well! Dam the weather!
